Interview with IFBB Figure Pro Nicole Pitcher Scott

1. Where have you been all these months without doing any of the early shows such as the California Pro? Was this a special tactic?

I felt that I needed to take some time out, to make some changes in order to place higher. I have been training hard and changed my diet prep all under the highly regarded watchful eye of Tres and Shannon.

2. There are some upcoming new British figure competitors, how is the industry in the UK right now?

At present I am the only British Pro Figure Competitor competing, which means I have allot of support from the British and USA public, as well as my family and coach.
The industry is growing In the UK with many new girls trying to earn pro cards. It is tough though, as you have to win the nationals and place top 6 in both the europeans and worlds to turn pro.

3. How was the Houston Pro for you? What are your thoughts about the show itself?

The show was so much fun and i met so many lovely people.
personally I was very pleased how it went, this is the first show Tres has got me ready for so he is still learning how my body reacts. Top ten in such a high level field was a great result, with the points so close. But many things to improve on, to try and get that all important invite.

4. Having placed well at the Houston Pro what do you think your chances are for your next show Atlantic City?

Every show is a different group of girls, all trying to make improvements from their last show. I will bring my best package to the stage and hope it is one that is going to get me to the Olympia. But a little bit of good luck would not go a miss so keep your fingers crossed x

5. You have competed at the Olympia before could you describe that experience?

It was like living a dream. I don't think you fully appreciate it until you come home and reflect on it. Everyone is so happy to be their and monica had us all in stitches all the time.

6. Did you make any changes to your contest prep for the Houston Pro?

Lots, I used to do all my own training and diet, but now I work with Tres and Shannon. I stayed with them before my comp for a week, to focus and get dialed in. The advice has been invaluable.

7. From the other shows you have done in your career which one has been your favorite?

The Denver when I qualified for the Olympia and the olympia itself.

8. What are you doing in your personal life right now, any changes?

I am sponsored by MetRx so do a lot of work for them. Many Guess spots and trade stands. I love these as i get to meet my fans and give some knowledge back. I have been running my gym with my husband "Beefs Gym" and we are about to open another one. and of course traveling to the USA and back a lot!

9. What other plans do you have after Atlantic City and possibly Olympia? Kentucky and Sacramento are just right around the corner.

I like to think and focus on one show at a time. So lets wait and see how the Atlantic City goes, and I then I will talk to my manger and take advice from there.

10. Finally, what changes do you think you need to improve on? You have changed your physique a lot since you first started as the judging criteria is very different from Europe.

I Have worked on my stage presence allot, learning how to show my best bits. I have lost some muscle and got allot leaner. Their is always something to improve, you just cant do them all at once.
