The Olympia booth was a great success, many fans came up and took pictures with the models. We had at booth cover model Genevieve Brodeur, Sasha Brown, Melissa Marx, Amanda Iannelli and Ginette Delhaes.

Next booth is at the Arnold and hope to have another great number of girls that weekend. We will be looking for more booth women so please keep tuned for that.

Fantasy World or Real World

There are two worlds we can live in: the Fantasy World or the Real World and we get to choose which one we live.

There was a model from the west coast who used to model on the more risque side of things (adult industry) before she entered the fitness industry. She had a great fitness body and was surely a very well wanted performer in her movies. Blonde hair, blue eyes, great physique and amazing looks. She decided to quit that industry and concentrate in the fitness field. The income for sure was a huge change from a six figure income she was going to drop to less than 30K per year but she wanted to do it. She had met a man and wanted to form a family and decided it would be the right thing even when the man supported her career in the adult industry.

She ended up giving herself a new look, cut her hair short and colored it as a brunette so no one could compare her to her former adult industry persona.

She did very well at shows but still wasn't making any money from the fitness. Her life became a struggle but she was happy being in a different place. But she did not live in the real world. Why? Well, very easy, she did not realize that the fitness industry was another different ball game.

She always wanted to do shoots and work booths but she never sent out resumes or would seek photographers. She also expected payment from any photographer because she had been in the adult business and now only did very conservative shoots, not even thongs! Most photographers knew her real background in the adult industry and realized it wasn't worth shooting her given all the risque stuff that was out there, making her market value nowadays with a horrid new look drop to nothing.

She struggled to understand why people weren't shooting or hiring her to do booth work. Some told her she needed to change her short hair and go back to blonde but she refused to do this as she knew that was part of her past look in the adult industry.

As of today this woman is semi-retired from competing and shooting. She never worked a booth formally and never had a contract with any company. But yet she had been a wonderful model in her time in the adult industry but sadly she decided to live in the fantasy world and expected the fitness industry to be at her feet.

The lesson to learn is that we all age and not everything we do is going to be amazing to others. You have to be smart and realize that you might be a queen in one industry but a buffoon in another one. Business people will make logical decision and will not work with you if you don't have what they need. You may think you do have it but once they are not calling you and you stay home and don't work a booth at an event that you really want to go to then you will realize.
