By Misty Green Breast AugmentationI am debating on breast augmentation.  I am fairly small chested and feel that if I enlarged my breasts I would have better balance.  I see more and more girls that compete undergo breast augmentation.  What are your thoughts on this issue?  Would having a larger chest help me to place higher?   Is it necessary for me to move forward and up in my fitness career?

Vanessa, I think you should make a decision based on what you want for yourself.  Not want you think someone else wants for you.   And also not because you feel pressured by what seems to be the norm.  If breast augmentation is something you have thought long and hard about.   Then do your research and make an educated decision.  There are so many resources on the web to help you go about deciding if this is something for you.  Dina Al Sabah wrote a great article a while back for Oxygen magazine.

Would you prefer to have larger breasts?  Ask yourself, what do I prefer?  Whatever you decide, make sure it something you truly want for yourself.  You are the one that has to be happy with it for the rest of your life.
