Melissa Dettwiller NPC Bodybuilding

How did you get interested in bodybuilding/working out?

I started working out with weights when I was in 6th or 7th grade. I was just looking for something to do after school and over the summer and I guess it just grew from there!

What was your first show like, any interesting experiences?

It was lots of fun! I did TOTALLY forgot my posing routine
in the middle of my routine because I didn't really learn it in the
first place! I spent so much time practicing HOW to pose that I didn't spend enough time learning my routine... but what good would a routine be if I didn't know how to pose! I just winged it! Good thing I don't have stage fright! I was the only one that knew I messed it up though.

What are your future goals in this industry?

I would love to get a pro card, get published in muscle magazines,
put out my own line of gym clothes, and I have a few other ideas!

What are your future goals in this industry?

I'd like to go as I can in the sport of bodybuilding as I can and see where it takes me!

What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?

I really don't know! Guess I'll just see where life takes me! ;O)

Please tell us something special about you that most people wouldn't know?

I LOVE animals and I grind my teeth when I sleep! Why did I just tell you that I don't know!

Any additional notes? People you would like to thank?

I would like to thank my husband Danny for keeping me motivated.
