Nubian Princess (Anabolic Steroid Use of a Female Bodybuilder)

The story below is about my journey into the world of bodybuilding and my experiences with anabolic steroids.

In 1998 I did my very first bodybuilding contest and placed 4th, after seeing how some of the other women looked I decided that if I wanted to compete on a National Level I would have to step it up a notch sort-a-speak. Competing at National Level many competitors had the size, muscle and conditioning some of the IFBB Pros had. So the use of steroids would only help me in placing higher and looking better.

In 1999 I used my first Anabolic Steroid called Primobolan which personally I found to be a very good drug for me. My body responded tremendously. I used Primo for my second show which I placed 2nd, it was unbelievable two jumps up the ladder. At that moment I was convinced that the "gear" was of going to help. After my second show I had supplier which I got a hold of alot of other substances: Deca, Winstrol and Equipose among the different ones.

After using these medical supplements I started noticing significant changes in my body, my voice starting getting lower. When someone would call my house they would say good morning SIR. The excessive hair on my body became a huge issue for me because I don't like body hair. I would have to shave my legs every day not the mention the in-grown hairs on the back of my hamstrings and I believe I was very self-conscious about it. Then there was the good ole of facial hair which should be an issue with every woman but for some it's not. It became a larger problem but I still wanted to place better and of course look better.

In 2000 I resorted to heavier stuff because I was getting great results with the ones I used in the past i.e. Primoteston, Sustanon 250, along with Deca, Winstrol, Equipose, Cytomel and Clenbuterol, Nolvadex or Arimidex and Hydroxycut back then it was' illegal to use the Ephedra brand. Sustanon 250 was an injectable so you imagine what I was going thru in order to achieve gains. I would stack that with Primoteston Depot. Cytomel was a fat loss agent that affected the thyroid function, this is a dangerous thing to play with.

During all this my body was still going through changes. My clitoris became enlarged, but for women who are hugh fans of oral sex it was a plus because it's great, sex on the whole is great, another feeling I couldn't begin to imagine.

I almost thought I would have to go to the ER after my third show because I had a really bad rebound from the diuretics that I took, my limbs swole, feet, ankles, hands and fingers, my toes looked like little vianna sausages. I also noticed a difference in my moods, I was very easily irritated and short tempered and to be quite honest I really didn't like what I was becoming.

For women who are or are considering Anabolic Steroid use please think long and hard before you make such a life threatening choice. If you do it carefully it can help you but if you do it incorrectly there can be irreversible changes to your body. Enlarged clitoris, deeper voice, and your appearance in general will change. I was lucky to keep my femeninity but maybe because my genetics allowed me to, but others might not be that lucky. I recommend reading and researching as much as you can. HardFitness Online Magazine will have a lot of coverage on this subject so keep looking thru. A mix of technical info such as dosages and some personal experiences can help competitors a lot.
